Meet Our Team
FounderAbihngengZenabuin (Abih)
Having journeyed through divorce, relocation, and vocational transition, Abih testifies that the Holy Spirit has been her constant Helper. Her story is one of grace, endurance, and hope — and she shares it so others know they are not alone. She strongly resonates with the biblical story of Joseph, saying: "Joseph's story keeps me going every day when I get up." She is enrolled in a Master of Divinity program at Calvin Theological Seminary with a calling toward clinical pastoral care, prayer ministry, and spiritual accompaniment. Her journey reflects resilience, obedience, and unwavering trust in God's faithfulness.

The Co-Founder of The Light Ministries is a compassionate leader with a deep commitment to pastoral care and community healing. With extensive experience in counseling and ministry, they play a crucial role in shaping the ministry's programs and outreach efforts. Their dedication to walking humbly with God and gently with people is evident in every aspect of their work, making them an invaluable part of the team.
Vision Statement
To be a Christ-centered ministry of presence and restoration that brings God's light into dark places — nurturing healed hearts, strengthened faith, and transformed lives, so individuals and families can live fully in the love, truth, and purpose of Jesus Christ.
Mission Statement
We exist to offer a safe space for compassionate listening, pastoral care through prayer, presence, and sharing of testimonies to edify one another — empowering individuals to heal, hope, and walk boldly in God's calling.
Our Theological Foundation
The Light Ministries is rooted in the conviction that falling is not final, return is always possible, and healing is sacred work. Guided by God's call to walk humbly, love mercy, and act justly (Micah 6:8), this ministry walks gently with those who have fallen, wandered, or grown weary — inviting restoration, faithful service, and wholistic healing in the presence of God (Jeremiah 8:4–5).
